David W. Harris, P.E., President

With over 30 years of experience in engineering design and construction of major land development projects, David Harris has been involved in such projects as building construction, environmental mitigation, hydrology, paving and drainage systems, wastewater treatment and disposal facilities, and water and wastewater transmission systems.  He has also served as Assistant District Engineer to several municipal taxing districts where his duties included the review of design plans and plats submitted by outside developers as well as the design specifications and bidding of district infrastructure improvements.


David C. Truong, EIT, LEED Green Associate

A recent graduate of Purdue University, David is currently a civil designer, drafter, and administrative assistant at Harris Engineering. Prior to that, he was a junior engineer for a leading MEP Design firm in the healthcare industry located in Kentucky before finding himself in Miami to be a district manager for a start-up general contracting firm. David is very active in US Green Building Council, volunteering for many networking and promotional events as well as serving as a chair for the South Florida Chapter's Emerging Professionals and as the Vice-Chair for the Miami-Dade Branch. He also serves as a National Chair for USGBC Students helping to promote sustainable lifestyles beginning at the college level.
